It’s thought that senior City
officials spoke to Uefa’s
official match delegate after
their Champions League game away to CSKA Moscow at the
Arena Khimki, but were told they must put any issues down in writing.City won the game 2-1 thanks
to a brace from Sergio Aguero , but the clash was marred by apparent ‘monkey chants’ aimed at
Toure.
The Ivory Coast international called on Uefa to take action after the game and City are now
preparing a written complaint.Fifa’s vice-president Jim Boyce has since got involved in the matter –
and has called on the Russian FA to sort out the racism problems among supporters.
